Some Administrative Details

Since I am The Overwhelmed, one of the things I've let go is keeping up on the administrative end of blogging. Yep, the world thinks it's all about cranking out the high quality content, but we bloggers know there are links and sidebars to manage. I'm hoping to spend next weekend or two generally cleaning up and updating my links to add those of you to the blogroll who have been commenting in recent months.

I've also decided that it will help me (also known as The Disorganized) if I stick to a schedule for my Second Road postings. So, I've been trying to post those on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, although I may play with that a little. I've clarified the terms of that commitment and TSR content will be available her six months after the post date. However, I don't think those changes will show up in RSS readers, for those using them.

And (although this isn't administrative so much as fun, connecting with friends stuff) I'm waaaay behind on e-mail and blog reading. So, as always, I love you all even if I comment late or don't comment frequently or don't get back to your e-mail for months. There are only so many hours in a day in which to work harder and do better!

Ah, the management aspect. When I first looked into starting a blog I read somewhere that it was like having a full-time job. I scoffed, part-time maybe, but full-time? No way.

    Yes, way.

but, I wouldn't have it any other way. I like my little blooging neighborhood. I'd like to be more efficient about managing, but that's on me.

Keep doing your best; it is always good enough. I love you whether or not you try harder.

I'm sorry, did you actually say high quality content?!

I thought I was reading the wrong blog there for a second.

Ps, my blog name would go so nice and neatly right under yours, or maybe on top. Cool huh. ~AR

  3. Yeah, the management aspect is no fun. That's why I've been putting it off for months.
