The glow of red eyes.
A mouth slashed across the face.
Jack-o-lantern glares.
Candles flickering.
A little witch waits outside.
Ghouls rap on my door.
Green hands hover, curl,
then plunge into the cauldron
and draw out candy.
Everybody scream
Whether with fear or delight.
