Excuse Me for Not Healing on Demand

A while back several of you asked how I was doing in the wake of Hillary's loss of the nomination to Obama. I'm still not ready to talk about it, but this Doonesbury cartoon (from Thursday, July 31) pretty much sums up where I am right now.

Apologies for not posting the comic here, but I don't have the $110 necessary to buy the reprinting rights, and I am not about to steal the brilliant Gary Trudeau's intellectual property.

  2. I love that you didn't steal it. These things take time. Probably a week for every month of emotional investment.

therapydoc, ironically, on the same day I posted this saying I didn't want to steal anyone's intellectual property, someone contacted me to let me know that one of the photos I used on my site, which I mistakenly thought was licensed for use with attribution, was actually under copyright and was being used without permission. Oops! I removed the image.

  6. I actually am finding it harder and harder to heal and am becoming more enraged again. Because it's very likely he could lose and that is not acceptable. It makes me furious because I know she could have easily kicked McCain's old, sorry ass.

But, whatever ... we're just a few old ladies who voted for her, right?

Stepping down now ... thanks for the 'toon.
