Instead of answering e-mail, I was taking this silly "Dating Persona" quiz that Vicarious Rising linked to. (You'll have to visit her. I don't link to dating sites, even ones that have me pegged. Screw that.)I'm a Peach, which is wonderful, because it makes me think of my favorite movie, It's a Wonderful Life ("Of course I like her. She's a peach!") and a sweet Southern friend of mine (kisses!) who has been known to call me "a honey and a peach."
My opposite is "The Nymph," who appears pictured only in her underwear. (Um, am I allowed to put cartoon images of semi-clad women on my site? My husband says, "If you have to ask..." So, away goes the Nymph along with the dating site links.) Ironically, "Nymph" was part of the screen name of one of the women my husband acted out with.
And some of the people I should look into dating? The Loverboy and the Playboy (aka the sex addicts). Sigh!
The Peach
Random Gentle Love Master (RGLM)
Playful, kind, and well-loved, you are The Peach.
For such a warm-hearted, generous person, you're surprisingly experienced in both love and sex. We credit your spontaneous side; you tend to live in the moment, and you don't get bogged down by inhibitions like most women your age. If you see something wonderful, you confidently embrace it.
You are a fun flirt and an instant sweetheart, but our guess is you're becoming more selective about long-term love. It's getting tougher for you to become permanently attached; and a guy who's in a different place emotionally might misunderstand your early enthusiasm. You can wreck someone simply by enjoying him.
Your ideal mate is adventurous and giving, like you. But not overly intense.
YOUR EXACT FEMALE OPPOSITE:
The Nymph
(Deliberate Brutal Sex Dreamer)
Always avoid: The False Messiah (DBLM)
Consider: The Loverboy (RGLM), The Playboy (RGSM), The Boy Next Door (RGLD)
Apparently I am also a Peach, and I am not sure why that surprised me. Maybe it's cuz' I'm such a cranky mo-fo by nature that the term "Peach" seems to be a bit of an antonym.
ReplyDeleteSo cheers to Steve Miller: "really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree-ee-ee."
I don't think I dare to take the quiz...
ReplyDeleteI'm a Peach, too!
ReplyDeleteHa! We're all peaches (except Mary Ann, who's too scared to see). And Sophie, I'd like you to know I've had that song in my head all day now. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked to report that I'm a Battleaxe. What?!
ReplyDeletehey - being called a love master can't be all that bad! ha! Priceless!
