Happy Birthday, Blog!

I am proud to announce that A Room of Mama's Own is now one whole year old. Yep, this blog was born with my very first post a year ago today. And oh, how it has grown (as babies will). I've written nearly every day for a year (yay, me!), and I now get as many visitors in a day as I did in that whole first month of blogging last year. And above all, I've made lots of wonderful new friends -- something I actually never expected in this little writing experiment of mine. (Yay, all of you!)

In honor of my blog's first birthday, I got it two things:

1. A fabulous picture of a pink cake (Mm, virtually delicious!)

2. Its very own URL! Yes, now you can also find me at ARoomOfMamasOwn.com. (The new URL simply redirects you to the old one (I'm still hosted by Blogger), so there's no need to change your subscriptions or bookmarks. It's just cool to own my own domain name.)
