Suspended in air
for one glittering moment.
Laptop breaks its neck.

Borrowed computer
feels awkward, uncomfortable:
a stranger's stiff shoes.

Phone calls and questions,
agonizing, sleepless nights.
Fix it or move on?

A new computer
purrs quietly on my lap.
I can write again!

Be patient with me.
I have some set up to do.
