Haiku Fishiness

Haiku FridayHow long can goldfish
live in a tank filled with glue?
Two days and counting.

Hours spent trying
to remove glue from the tank:
More than three so far.

The tank still looks like
the fish are swimming in milk.
Mama's frustrated.

This story's moral?
Never leave kids alone with
A bottle of glue.

  1. I wondered where your Haiku was yesterday as I turned off the computer and made a mental note to check this morning. Your life makes mine look so simple! I do hope the goldfish survived. This all reminds me of so many classroom experiences with glue. I hope today is a bit simpler for you and yours.
    Hugs and blessings,

  2. Reminds me: have you read the YA book, "The Rules," by Cynthia Lord. Of course not, why would you? I have a copy to giveaway if you'd like to find out more.

  4. uh oh! Owen dumped in a whole bottle of fish food in ours last week. That killed three aquatic pets and required having to empty and start the aquarium ALL over again from scratch. Ugh, what a pain!

hi honey!!! yeah...it's been a long time!!
it's funny because, you aren't the only one who has said that their reader isn't picking up my blog but, sadly...i have no clue how to remedy it!!
love the haikus! whenever we get goldfish, it's always me that ends up screwing up with them...the kids don't even get a chance to do something like, empty a glue bottle into the tank!!
hope all is well with you!!
