Ask Aunt B (and Me)

As some of you may have gathered from Babz's comment on my last post, she has officially offered me a position on her illustrious staff providing advice at Ask Aunt B. And in spite of my qualms about the desirability of having a recovering codie like me as an advice giver, I've decided to move up from unpaid temporary consultant to unpaid permanent staffer, thereby fulfilling my lifelong dream of showing up Dear Abby. (And who hasn't wanted to do that at some point?) It's also a little bit like my dream job of being an online therapist, but is superior in that it doesn't require a degree.

So, look for me to chime in from time to time over there. And if you have a problem, why not Ask Aunt B (and me)?

  1. It certainly sounds fascinating and rewarding. Scary too really. But good luck with it. Every time I try to ask for advice, I feel...I can't even describe it, but the asking does not come naturally.

It is my belief, based on the variety of ways that I have come to know you better, that you are well suited for this position. You are able to view situations full circle - from every perspective - and not judge. Perhaps you will find your way into being a therapist after all :)

As well, you were born for it! Yea, what Mona said...
