Peace to You

I am getting ready for Christmas tonight: wrapping the last few presents, getting together the last few ingredients for dinner tomorrow, and putting on a few of my favorite Christmas tunes. And I wanted to pause to say Merry Christmas to those of you who will be celebrating tomorrow.

To those of you who don't, I hope that you enjoyed, or will enjoy, your own special celebration of light in the winter darkness. We all find some way of bringing in light when the nights are long, even if we don't all call it by the same name or celebrate it at the same time.

    your blog is really interesting. I love getting the other side of things. Having had some of the same experiences with my mom, I find it very very refreshing to understand things from an earnest standpoint I can't relate with for a very long time.

  11. Lovely reminder as you stopped your last minute preparations to leave your note on Christmas Eve. After clicking on the link and reading the post on your other blog, I've run out of time for now ... but I'll be back :)

    I hope you enjoyed your Christmas celebrations. As for the video, I loved it! I wish my family could have encouraged us to be independent and together.

  12. Merry Christmas! I hope yours was wonderful! We had a great time and really enjoyed our family this year. It's finally started to snow a little but I know it'll soon be gone so I'm gonna enjoy it for the few hours it will be on the ground!
